Basketball awards given out


Five players shared the “36” award. This award was created to celebrate any player form Cook County that at some point during the season, played all 36 minutes of a game without coming out. Pictured L-R: Tate Crawford, Derek Smith, Jacob Dorr, and Paul Dorr. Not pictured is Enrique Henriquez.

Following the basketball season the Cook County Boys’ basketball team had a small awards banquet and some hardware was given out.

Said Head Coach Andy Feddema, “I would like to thank everyone surrounding the basketball program for the support this year, especially with the circumstances of these times we are living in. As a coach, I am really looking forward to seeing the development with the program, both as basketball players and as young men.”

Paul Dorr and Tate Crawford tied for votes to select the Vikings’ most valuable player (MVP) this year, so each boy shared the MVP award.
