Esko paid a visit to Cook County last week and left with a narrow win over the Vikings.
The game was scoreless through two innings before the Vikings scored one run in the third.
Neither team could score in the fourth and the Vikings went into the fifth inning up one.
With Esko up at bat in the top of the fifth, former Viking Noah Furcht singled one the first pitch at bat and collected two RBI’s and Esko left the inning ahead 3-1.
Esko collected one more run in the sixth and won 4-1 when the Vikings couldn’t score in the seventh inning.
Tyler Koskela took the win for the Eskimos. Tyler pitched seven innings, allowing three hits, one run while striking out four and giving up one walk.
Jacob Dorr pitched a great game, lasting seven innings, allowing six hits and four runs while striking out one and walking one against the 3A school.
Dj Seidel, Tate Crawford and Riley Tarver each collected one hit for the Vikings. The Vikings played error free ball and Patrick Pierre had the most fielding chances with seven.
Esko had one error in the game.
In a game that featured the pitchers, Jacob Dorr threw 79 pitches, 49 for strikes.
Tyler Koskela threw 84 pitches, 58 for strikes.
