The North Shore Music Association heads down the shore a skip and a jump in June to present Twin Cities-based acoustic band the Barley Jacks. Performing original vocals and jaw-dropping instrumentals, the Barley Jacks are bound to whip up plenty of excitement and fun at the Schroeder Town Hall on June 8 at 7:30 p.m.

There will be ample seating for all, plus room to dance. Whether you prefer to keep it parked or you gotta bust a move, you won’t want to miss these four masters of fiddle, guitar, bass and drums, who meld their diverse backgrounds of blues and bluegrass, classical and Celtic, R&B and bebop, inspiring each other to create something entirely new.

Frontman, fiddler, and mandolinist Brian Wicklund, guitarist Mike Cramer, bassist Keith Yanes, and percussionist Joel Arpin are eager to serve up their own special recipe of “virtuosity, magic, and a little danger” that makes every performance unique.

Tickets are $20 adults, $5 kids ages 18 and under, general admission, and are available at the event only starting one-half hour before showtime. Schroeder Town Hall is located at 124 Cramer Road, Schroeder.
