A special Cook County Historical Society “Small Talk” will be presented at 4 p.m. April 11 at the Johnson Heritage Post, 115 Wisconsin St. in Grand Marais.
The topic of the presentation will be the Bally Blacksmith Shop. A panel of guest speakers will tell stories of the Bally family. The public is also invited to share their own stories, photos or objects related to the Ballys and their trade. Historical Society staff will give an update and progress report on the site and future plans – things are moving along!
