We are hosting our 6th Ruby’s Pantry Drive through distribution this Thursday, October 6th. Thank you to all who have been picking up a food share and those who continue to volunteer.
We have been averaging 90-100 shares. That’s a lot, but not enough. The fact is, if we don’t get our share numbers up to 132, (Ruby’s minimum) we will no longer be able to continue to offer a West End Ruby’s Pantry.
Here’s the facts:
$25.00 cash per share for a large cart full of food (fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, bread, snacks, etc.)
Groceries delivered to your car with no waiting
If you eat you qualify – shares are not income based and you will not be taking away from others
If you truly, cannot afford a share, we will give it to you free – No questions asked
Volunteers from each township are willing to deliver shares to your home if needed
Anyone wanting to donate a share please mail to or drop at Grand Marais State Bank. Make checks out to Zoar Lutheran Church “WE Feed”.

Please help us continue to provide this valuable service to the West End of Cook County. We not only supply a lot of food and drink, but we prevent good food from adding to our landfills. Be green for a little green.
