Someone tried to kick in the heavy glass front door of the Grand Marais Holiday gas station. The incident occurred at about 1:40 a.m. on Saturday, November 10.
The suspect, who was caught on camera, was wearing blue jeans, a brown jacket and a green hat with a yellow stripe and a pom-pom. He repeatedly kicked the door and tapped on the door until an employee said stop it, and the suspect left.
The employee, who was re-stocking supplies, then noticed that the door had been cracked and called Cook County Law enforcement, which arrived on the scene a few minutes after being haled.
The suspect was later apprehended and arrested on different charges.
