The residents at the Care Center enjoyed great music and special activities during the holiday season. They want to thank some of the people who helped make it so great – in their own words – starting with the kids.

The cast of Cinderella
performed for us at the Care Center and got us excited about going to see them on stage at the Playhouse. The Girl Scouts made us pine centerpieces and baked goods and did some caroling through the halls. The first and second graders from Sawtooth Elementary sang songs and put on a play. Students from Great Expectations presented us with gifts for baking and sang Christmas carols. Thanks, kids!

Lots of adults also performed holiday music. Thank you to Al Fuller, Irene Thompson, Susan Scherer, Doug Sanders, Sherrie Lindskog, Jacob Seibel, Bertha Toftey’s daughters, the church groups, the Muus family, Pincushion Warblers,
Portage
and The Sivertones.

Santa even got into the act! On Christmas Eve, much to our surprise, Santa sang and played boogie-woogie on the piano. Thanks, Santa, Mrs. Claus, and elves for a lively party. And many thanks to the Care Center staff for all the Christmas gifts.

We had a memorable holiday season and are truly blessed with family, friends, and a caring community. We wish you all a Happy New Year!
