The Grand Marais Art Colony has a full slate of interesting classes scheduled for this summer. One class offered during the upcoming Arts Festival will be Rock Balance Art.
The Grand Marais Arts Festival is just around the corner, and the Art Colony is offering a number of interesting and educational programs in conjunction with the annual event.
Classes offered during the festival, July 12 and 13, include Quick Paint with Todd Voss, July 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Shoot the Moon with Bryan Hansel, July 12 from 6 to 10 p.m.; Pencil Portraiture with David Hahn, July 12 from 2 to 4 p.m.; and Rock Balance Art on July 13 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Other scheduled classes include Animal Sculpture on July 1; Advanced Animal Sculpture on July 2 and 3; Letterboxing on July 5; Pastel Plein Air on July 7 -11; and Native Clay Workshop on July 7 – 9.
