The Cook County Sportsmens Club met for friendly competition on Saturday, June 13. All of the participants fired ten shots with a Survival .22 rifle. The competitor who had the best score won the rifle. Top: Scott Puch watches the target as Tim Miller takes aim. Miller won the competition, hitting all ten of his shots in the target. Jim Roy helps his son, Cameron. Right top-bottom: In addition to the competition, there was cannon firing! Chuck Wallerstadt of Grand Marais loaded the cannon, lit the fuse, and Boom! The cannon recoiled as it fired.
