The Arrowhead Eagles Aviation Organization (AEAO), a local 501 (c) (3) non-profit, will hold its annual meeting at noon on May l5 at the Skyport Lodge & Raven Rock Grill. A business meeting will be followed with a presentation by FAA Safety Team representative, Allan Thilmany. The topic will focus on local aviation weather resources and survival planning techniques and tactics for remote areas. A Master Pilot Award presentation to a local pilot will also take place. Fly in transportation is available to the meeting. Float pilots can use the new seaplane dock at Skyport Lodge.

AEAO is dedicated to the following key goals: Promote flight training for youth and adults; Promote career options available in the aviation industry; Seek charitable gift support for aviation related scholarships;
Promote activities with pilots and aviation organizations in the region; Promote fly-in events to build visitor and lodging support and promote aviation history in Cook County.
