There are three district director positions open on the Arrowhead Cooperative board.
The districts with openings are:
District 3, Gunflint Trail;
District 6, Lutsen; and
District 7, Tofte/Schroeder.
Arrowhead Cooperative board members meet once a month, receiving updates from managers and review financial reports.
The board is responsible for hiring the general manager and delegating duties, responsibilities, and authority to the general manager.
Decisions about the annual operating budget are made with the board and the general manager.
Additionally, the board has the authority to direct management of the cooperative, including determining rates and developing rules and regulations that govern service to the members.
Anyone living in one of three districts that is a member of Arrowhead Cooperative can run to serve on the board.
