Cook County Fair organizers are still looking for musicians who would like to perform at this year’s event.
On Friday evening the Flute Reed
River Band
will be playing from 5- 7 p.m. and the kids’ inflatables will also be open from noon to 7 p.m.
On Saturday evening, Oversized
Load
is playing from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Inflatables will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the kids’ games will be open from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. There will be a petting zoo, an ECC Family Wellness Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with prizes drawn at 3 p.m., the family races are from 1 to 3 p.m. and there will be bingo from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will be popcorn and cotton candy sold by ECFE as well as food in the main building put on by Anders Zimmer’s family while the horse activities go on.
Both of the bands are doing this as a donation of their time back to their community, but bands are still needed to play Saturday, Aug. 21 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.
