Apron Class coming to the Senior Center

The long lost art of apron-wearing is coming back!

If you would like to learn how to make an apron, please attend the Thursday, April 12 and Thursday, April 26 class at the Cook County Senior Center. The classes will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon each day.

Kim Nelson, senior center program director, will lead the class.

“I will have apron patterns on hand, some vintage and modern to use (mostly adult, and some youth). Materials will vary on patterns, but figure approximately 1-2 yards for the base, add more if ruffles. Talk with me ahead of time to calculate your yardage,” Nelson said.

Call the Senior Center for more information 218- 387-2660.
