Cook County Higher Education is currently accepting applications for the Wes Hedstrom Scholarship Fund, which was created in honor of longtime resident and Cook County Commissioner Wes Hedstrom. Hedstrom was a member of the CCHE board and an advocate of lifelong learning.
The award is for Cook County residents who are enrolled or in the process of enrolling in a distance degree program. Financial awards are determined by the Cook County Higher Education Scholarship Committee and are awarded until funds are exhausted. The scholarship deadline for Spring 2011 courses is November 15, 2010.
