I just watched the Ottawa Senators and Pittsburgh Penguins in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. At the same time I was watching the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers in NBA playoffs on another station. I was switching back and forth.
In the fourth quarter (third period for hockey), the scores were close. In the hockey game, there was 5.17 minutes left and in the basketball game there was 38 seconds left. I decided to watch the end of the hockey game.
When hockey ended after the 5.17 minutes (in a tie headed for overtime) just for the heck of it I switched back to the basketball game.
There was eight seconds left in the game. And that, my friends, is why pro basketball sucks. 5.17 minutes to play 30 seconds of basketball!
