At the March 10 board meeting, Tim Nelson, Planning and Zoning Director asked commissioners to “remove the pause in the comprehensive land use planning process” that was placed at the request of Commissioner Frank Moe to allow for informational meetings on the east side of the county to solicit additional input.
A March 19 meeting of the County Comprehensive Land Use Guide Plan Update Committee was scheduled to discuss the plan, and Nelson said he thought the meeting could be held and input from Moe’s two east end meetings held March 10 and March 11 could be discussed at that time. He asked if Moe could report on what he learned at the meetings.
Moe said he could get those minutes to the planning board for its March 19 meeting, which will be held at 3 p.m. Visitors can attend the meeting.
