Anita Delores Kalinoff, age 96, passed away on January 2, 2018 at The Estates at Greeley in Stillwater, Minnesota with her family at her side. She was born in Stillwater, Minnesota on December 23, 1921 to George and Hilda Fenske. She graduated from Stillwater High School in 1939. Anita was employed as a bookkeeper at Erickson Post Ford and the First Minnehaha National Bank in Minneapolis. Most notably she served many years as the Deputy Clerk of Court in Washington County, Minnesota. She greatly enjoyed visiting the North Shore every summer and spent many holidays with her family in Grand Marais.
Her first husband, Wilton Prior of Minneapolis, Minnesota, preceded Anita in death. In 1963, she married Vacil Kalinoff of Stillwater, Minnesota who passed away February 5, 2000. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Fenske and sisters, Gretchen Monty (Lyle) and Jean Spreeman (Roy).
Anita is survived by her daughter Carol J. Burger (A. Nicholas) of Grand Marais, Minnesota, nephews and nieces, as well as special friends Diane Pettersen and Gary Sample.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held in the spring. Memorials are preferred to Lakeview Hospice in Stillwater, Minn.
