Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Conservation Officers are reminding anglers about the upcoming deadline to remove their ice fishing shelters. In addition, anglers are reminded to do their part in keeping our lakes clean by picking up trash, even if it doesn’t belong to them.
In the southern two-thirds of the state, structures must be off lakes by the end of the day Monday, March 7. For structures on lakes in the northern third of the state, the deadline is by the end of the day March 21.
