The Cross River Heritage Center in Schroeder will exhibit the photography of Anders Bjorling through the summer season. Bjorling is a nature and travel photographer, living in St. Peter, Minnesota.

Photography has always been one of his passions, but not until retiring 10 years ago, after 37 years as an administrator at Gustavus Adolphus College, has he had adequate time to devote to photography. He likes to say that rather than “retiring” he has “redirected” his life.

Bjorling has traveled to many exciting places around the world, including Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Morocco, Tanzania, Iceland, India and Nepal.

During the last several years, as advances in digital photography have been made, Bjorling now processes and prints all of his images in his digital “darkroom.”
