The American Legion Post 413 Sons of the Legion gave a donation of $700 to the Cook County Food Shelf last fall. However, knowing the need is great this time of year, the Sons decided to make another contribution. Sons’ representative David Johnson presented a check for $500 to food shelf volunteer Gwen Lenz on December 23, 2013.
