Jenna Pogorels of the Alzheimer’s Association will teach a First Responder dementia training class on Tuesday, May 8 from 6-8 p.m. at the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic.
The Alzheimer’s disease epidemic continues to grow. As a First Responder, it’s critical to be prepared to face it in your community. People with Alzheimer’s or another dementia can unknowingly put themselves and others in dangerous situations. The Alzheimer’s Association® Approaching Alzheimer’s: First Responder Training is a course to prepare you to respond to common calls involving a person with dementia.
The program is offered free of charge. Food and a certificate of attendance will be provided.
