I am writing this letter because I am so angry and I need to vent. I just received my renewal for my health insurance, and I couldn’t believe what I was reading. I am a female over 60 but under 65. I worked my entire life and still do. I have to buy my insurance. I was informed by Health Partners my premium was going from $481 to $681. I was going from a $7,200 deductible to a $7,150 deductible and losing my insurance benefit to be covered when I travel in the USA. I was also told I need to sign up quickly because they have new limits on how many people can sign up for their individual plans!
What is going on?
The other plan options I have in Minnesota are higher! This is unbelievable. While I pay my outrageous premiums, a large amount of people in this state are being subsidized. Everything I worked for and saved for is being drained! I can’t afford another year of Obama’s health care! I will not nor should anyone who pays their way put another follower of this type of thinking in the White House. I am less than thrilled about our choices, but I am for hope and change! Obama didn’t give it to me, Hillary, isn’t going to give it to me, my representatives are worthless, (from both parties), so I have nothing more to possibly lose by voting for an outsider like Donald Trump. Please let your voice be heard. VOTE!
