Administrator is necessary

I read in the News-Herald
that Commissioner Fenwick will further look into the issue presented by the county highway department for the purchase of radios for their operation. As stated, grant funds were involved. Why is he volunteering to do this? Thatis the job of the staff. His job, as well as the rest of the commissioners, is to legislate, not to perform staff work.

Thatis one of many reasons why an administrator is necessary. Our county board members don’t know their responsibilities.

The administrator should be hired after these current commissioners are removed in November and replaced in January.

We need new representation. Believe me, I know!
