Addie Gecas of Grand Marais received the Chancellor’s Award for the spring 2012 semester at University of Wisconsin-Stout. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
UW-Stout, Wisconsin’s polytechnic university, is a special mission university in the UW system. The university has a longstanding reputation of serving business, industry, education and the helping professions through its specialized educational programs. Enrollment this year is 9,357.
Addie is the daughter of Greg and Barb Gecas of Grand Marais and is majoring in apparel design and development.
