From noon to 4 p.m. on Feb. 23 an AARP safe driving class will be offered at the Cook County Community Center in Grand Marais.
Cost for AARP members is $15 and non-members $20.
If you can’t make that class, another will be held on March 23 from noon to 4 p.m. at Cook County Community Center.
Minnesota drivers age 55+ who take an approved eight-hour driver safety/ accident reduction course receive a 10 percent auto insurance discount from all insurance companies doing business in Minnesota. Drivers maintain their discount by taking an approved four-hour refresher driver safety course every three years.
The instructors ask for your understanding when they are unable to take your call, schedule more than 60 days in advance, or have to cancel with little notice.
