I am sick and dang tired of this word! You can read or hear the wood pristine
used way too much for the wrong things. Pristine river, lake and one that really bugs the heck out of me is when people say the pristine Boundary Waters Canoe Area. The BWCA, is not pristine!
It has been logged a couple of times, people lived in the area for decades, they trapped, hunted, fished and now you cannot take any motor into the BWCA not even an electric trolling motor.
Man has, and is still, tracking the area up every day, yes even in the winter. I would be willing to call it pristine if the whole area burnt, every tree, no man set foot in the area for oh, say 250 years or more, no plane flies over at 20,000 feet, no mercury is deposited with the rain and snow. ThenI might say it is pristine, maybe I might!
I am so sick and tired of the word pristine
being used to describe things wrongly.
Thatis my rant on the word pristine.
