The Thursday night Mountain Stage show sold out almost as soon as tickets went on sale. The evening was capped by a fabulous performance by the “bluegrass band gone bad,” Trampled by Turtles.

Because of a missing passport, Gretchen Peters spent an extra day in Grand Marais. Her inconvenience was Cook County’s gain, as she shared her music both on Mountain Stage and at the Unplugged XI concert the next night!

Jon Vezner continues to bring his amazingly talented friends to Unplugged. Jonathan Edwards, Jon Vezner, Mollie O’Brien and Rich Moore took the stage in the Nashville songwriter circle style. In the background is cellist Jeff Gilkenson, who has appeared with Vezner in the past.
