A great weekend at the Cook County Curling Club





Winning the A event at the Cook County Curling Club Open Bonspiel last weekend was the Ron Kowalchuck Rink of Thunder Bay, Canada.

Winning the A event at the Cook County Curling Club Open Bonspiel last weekend was the Ron Kowalchuck Rink of Thunder Bay, Canada.

The Cook County Curling Club held its Open Bonspiel on the weekend of February 20-23 at the curling club with 11 teams participating. Our Canadian guests, along with our other out-oftown guests enjoy the fact that they can have an affordable bonspiel weekend in a nice location.

Our club is known for its fast ice conditions, in addition to our great hospitality and meals. The club advertises to all skill levels so that our guests can have a fun bonspiel experience.

The club will be hosting its last bonspiel, the Charles J. Futterer Open Memorial, on March 13, 14 and 15. The public is always welcomed to come and watch. If you would like to learn more about curling check out the club’s website: www.cookcountycurlingclub.com.
