A celebration of writing was held at GES

The Great Expectations School Writing Celebration was held on Thursday evening, April 27th.

“We had a wonderful turnout for our annual event. It is a fabulous way to share and celebrate our students’ writing journey throughout their years at GES,” said Jeanne Spry.

Depending on the kids’ grade level, the poems, prose, stories, and book reports were well done for the ages of the students. And some writing went beyond cute and charming to showing high skill levels for some genuinely talented upcoming authors.

Overall, it was an excellent chance for the community to come together and connect after a long winter. It was a night to enjoy some sweet reading, converse with friends and marvel at the talented kids that attend GES.
