2nd annual ALS “Dinner with a Purpose”

Mark your calendars for the Second Annual “Dinner with a Purpose” Sunday, Nov. 28 at My Sister’s Place. The event, a fundraiser for the ALS Association of Minnesota, will be held from 4:30 to 8 p.m.

Fifty percent of the dinner bills will be donated to the ALS Association on behalf of Tom and Kathy Bernier and Paul Bernier. They are riding together in the February 2011 Blackwoods Blizzard Tour, a three-day snowmobile event in support of the families and victims of ALS.

ALS (short for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. It is a fatal, degenerative disease that affects the central nervous system. There is no known cause and no known cure.

For information about “Dinner with a Purpose,” contact Kathy Bernier at 387- 9138, Paul or Cara Sporn at 387-1915 or Paul or Cortnee Bernier at 387-2139.
