The Grand Marais Art Colony Plein Air event wrapped up last week, but the exhibits will be available for viewing until November 13.
The novice, open class pieces—12 total— are hanging at the Art Colony. The competition juror, Dan Wiemer, is the Grand Marais Art Colony’s September featured artist and he has three pieces at the Art Colony.
The Art Colony is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Johnson Heritage Post Plein Air exhibit has over 230 pieces from Art Colony juried and invited classes. The Johnson Heritage Post is open Monday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 – 4 p.m.
Art Colony Director Amy Demmer was pleased to announce the winners of this year’s competitions.
