The Cook County Curling Club held its 10th Annual Open Halloween Bonspiel this past weekend with eight teams playing a round robin format. Old and new friends from the Duluth Curling Club, St. Paul Curling Club and the Lakeville Curling Club were guests for this bonspiel. Most of the teams had connection to Cook County by either being born or raised here or had relative ties to the area. Several of the teams were father/daughter, father/son and siblings who started curling years ago and not so long ago, in the Cook County Curling Club. This bonspiel was the first-time resident Cook County Curling Club members had been on home ice since March of 2020.
