1010 Interiors in Grand Marais is celebrating its 25th anniversary in business. Stop by and see owner/designer LeeAnn Zunker (right) and designer Laurie Spry during their week of celebration, September 12-16.
LeeAnn Zunker of 1010 Interiors has a lot to celebrate. She turned her home decorating habit into a very successful career creating beautiful homes on the North Shore.
Working as a hairstylist, Zunker discovered her love for interior design when she bought her first home. She found her calling and went back to school, eventually earning a two-year degree in interior decorating.
She worked with Al Hedstrom at what was then Better Buy Design until buying Hedstrom out and becoming the proprietor of the business, which she renamed 1010 Interiors in 2003.
Since that time, Zunker has received numerous design awards and has created a staff knowledgeable in all aspects of home design, from carpet and tile to cabinets and window treatments. This spring designer Laurie Anderson Spry joined 1010 Interiors.
Also on the 1010 Interiors team is LeeAnn’s daughter, Alison Zunker, Bryan Carpenter, Jake Wilson and Jacob Carlson.
Over the years, Zunker and her team have helped many North Shore homeowners visualize and create their dream homes.
