Easter Egg Hunt
Kids, parents in tow, lined up and made a mad dash to collect as many Easter Eggs as they could on Saturday morning, April 8 at the Grand Marais community campground (Rec. Park). The annual Easter Egg hunt was sponsored by Cook County Kids Plus and had a great turnout.
Highway 61 Pigeon River Bridge Re-deck underway
If you are venturing into Canada, expect delays at the Pigeon River border crossing. The Minnesota Department of Transportation began construction on the Highway 61 Pigeon River bridge at the US-Canadian border on April 10, 2023. Extra COVID Emergency SNAP benefits have ended
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Minnesota received a waiver from the federal government to temporarily provide extra Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits known as Emergency SNAP, or E-SNAP.
