The vote to raise commissioner pay was 3-2 in favor. The article last week stated commissioner’s voted 5-0 to support a pay raise for themselves. Commissioners Bob Svalsen and Ginny Storlie voted against the increase while Commissioners Stacy Hawkins, David Mills and Ann Sullivan voted for the $3,600 per year pay increase. The News Herald regrets the error.
