Vikings end play-off with loss to Northwoods

Girls lose to Cherry
The Cook County High School girls’ basketball team bowed out of the playoffs with an 86-33 loss to the Cherry Tigers. The game was played March 2. Pileated Woodpecker
This pileated woodpecker is working hard for its supper. These neat looking birds forage on insects, often chipping out fairly large holes to get the bugs. In the summer pileated woodpeckers will also eat fruit, nuts and berries.
