The Grand Marais Lions are busy selling raffle tickets in Harbor Park for the Fisherman’s Picnic, which runs through Sunday, August 8, when the winning ticket worth $10,000 will be drawn at 5 p.m. Proceeds from the raffle will help pay for the many non-profits the Lions assist through the year.

Cook County/Grand Marais Economic Development Authority names Beth Drost as the new Executive Director
The Cook County/ Grand Marais Economic Development Authority Board has named Beth Drost the new Executive Director of the EDA. Drost, a career-long public servant, is former Chairwoman of the Grand Portage Reservation Tribal Council.
