After a seven-minute epic battle, Diana landed this 26- inch six-pound six-ounce walleye in a local lake. She was fishing with a chartreuse Beaver Flick tipped with a leach in nine feet of water during evening hours. There was a soft northwest wind blowing on a warm June night. Just the right conditions for big walleyes to bite.
