Olivia Nesgoda was nominated for Cook County High School Student of the Month for January. Olivia was gone from school the day the pictures were taken for this honor so she is included this week in the newspaper. Olivia is a very nice young lady who shows acceptance to her peers and those around her.

The Cook County High School Knowledge Bowl team took fourth place at the end of February in a meet held in Eveleth, Minnesota. The Vikings placed behind Marshall, Hermantown and Cloquet.
