Twin Cities hiker perishes


An 82-year-old Anoka, Minnesota man perished while walking on the Superior Hiking Trail. On Tuesday, September 17 Jerry Dean Small was walking with friends when he collapsed. CPR was administered but he remained unresponsive. The Cook County Sheriff ’s Office, Cook County Ambulance and the Cook County Search and Rescue (SAR) all responded.
