Nick and Kristin Wharton of Grand Marais announce the birth of a son, Eli Nicholas Wharton, at 11:45 p.m. March 11, 2011 at the Cook County North Shore Hospital in Grand Marais. Eli weighed 7 pounds, 8.5 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Eli is welcomed home by his big brother Henry and big sister Mary June.
