Two Grand Marais students have been named to the spring 2010 Bemidji State University dean’s list: Heather Kemp and Kristen Bockovich. Bemidji State students carrying 12 or more semester hours during any one term and earning at least 3.25 (B-plus) grade point averages are placed on the dean’s list.

Chelgren graduates from Montana State
On May 8, 2010, Kara (Johnson) Chelgren graduated with honors from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana, receiving a degree in agro-ecology. Kara and Trey continue to live and work in the Bozeman area. Kara is a 2003 graduate of Cook County High school and is the daughter of Bruce and Cheryl Johnson of Grand Marais.
Garvin graduates from Whatcom
Crystal Garvin of Bellingham, Washington graduated with honors on June 18, 2010 from Whatcom Community College in Bellingham with an associate of arts degree in early childhood education.
