Keith Dahl and Krysten Flett announce the birth of a daughter, Holly Caralee Dahl, on Dec. 19, 2009. Holly weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces and was 20.4 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Crystal Flett and David Prince. Paternal grandparents are Carolyn Deschampe Howard and Mickey Spry, and Arvid Dahl and Patty Winchell-Dahl.

Jason and Carrie Lynn (Robinson) Pontnack announce the arrival of a son, Peyton Robert, at 7:50 a.m. Dec. 31, 2009. Peyton weighed 9 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 21 ½ inches long. He is welcomed by grandparents Rob and Patty Robinson of Grand Marais, grandmother Connie Hillison of Montello, Wis., and grandfather Butch Pontnack of Chicago, Ill.
